San Diego Regional School Garden Resource Center
Formed in 1999, the San Diego Regional School Garden Resource Center (RC) assists K-12 educators interested in using the garden as a tool to teach nutrition, agriculture, nature, and other school subjects such as science, math, writing, reading, art, music, and others. The RC acts as a resource clearinghouse for teachers and school districts interested in garden-based nutrition education. The RC provides practical training, ongoing support and related resources for educators interested in programs aimed at encouraging students to appreciate fresh food and learn about the whole food cycle.

Project Wildlife
Since 1972, Project Wildlife has been dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, followed by release into the wild. Each year this nonprofit organization gives a second chance to over 11,000 wild creatures. Their care centers are located throughout the county to provide emergency first aid, long-term treatment, and veterinary care, if needed. They also have an education department that serves to promote wildlife conservation by teaching children and adults the beauty and value of our wildlife. Project Wildlife also educates people on fostering a deeper understanding of human/animal interactions. Their phone lines are staffed daily with volunteers who can answer questions about wildlife and also advise you of what to do if you have found an animal.

Individuals
Help us spread the word about Go Green Book! Every purchase you make is like a vote about how
you would like the world to be. Small changes in what you
eat and what you buy can add up to make a huge positive
impact. By purchasing Go
Green Book, you can add some "green" to your life
and save some "green" too! You can also feel good about
the fact that a portion of your purchase will go to local
nonprofit organizations that care for people and the planet.
Since this is a new publication for San Diego, we need your help to spread the word. Send a big GREEN ripple effect out into your community by introducing people to Go Green Book.
Be sure to tell your school, club, coach, church, and
local nonprofit organizations about this green fundraising
opportunity. If you know of a green business that you
think should be in the Go Green Book,
or if you know of a store that you think should
carry the Go Green Book,
please let us - as well as them - know.
As more and more people switch to earth-friendly options, the world will ultimately become a healthier place for us all!
